This piece speaks to the raw textures and shifting landscapes of nature. The deep turquoise washes down like a waterfall, a flow of time, emotion, and movement. The sculptural elements—folded, torn, and layered—resemble weathered rock formations, ancient ruins, or fabric caught in the wind. The metallic flecks suggest traces of the past, remnants of something precious, eroded yet still present.
I wanted to capture the tension between fluidity and solidity, between what is grounded and what is fleeting. The earthy browns and greens anchor the piece, while the motion of the paint and fabric-like textures create a sense of transformation. It feels like a place suspended in time, a memory carved into the landscape, whispering echoes of something both lost and found.
